Longtime Help Group supporter Hasbro continued their tradition of donating toys and games to the Carnival so that every child could take home a wrapped present. Young people from the Kids Like Me club l.a. program and Advance LA helped pass out presents to all the children attending the Carnival. The major sponsors of the day included The Zenith, Hasbro, Firestone Family, Monkarsh Family, Nu Color Printing, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® who served coffee and hot chocolate during the festivities.

The Help Group’s Sherman Oaks campus was transformed into a winter wonderland wherein guests enjoyed a joyful afternoon of games, rides, food, arts and crafts, face painting, and an unforgettable visit with Santa Claus. This annual holiday event benefits families from economically disadvantaged circumstances.

This year also included the return of a clothing area where families were able to fill their bags with donated clothing, shoes, and accessories for children and adults.

“The Holiday Carnival is truly a special time for all the families served by The Help Group,” said Dr. Barbara Firestone, Help Group President & CEO. “Our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors and over 100 volunteers who made this day so wonderful for the children and their families.”
