Wraparound Program provides intensive in-home and community based services to children and their families referred by DCFS, DMH or Probation Department. Child and Family Teams develop a strengths-based plan to meet the needs of the family.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Minimum high school diploma.
*Prefer candidate to have been past consumer of Wraparound, or similar services.
*Able to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
*Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strength based services preferred.
*Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
*Training and supervision will be provided in regard to family-centered and strengths-based services.
*MUST BE A PARENT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Facilitate family's involvement in all aspects of the Wraparound process.
*Assist family to have a voice in team meetings.
*Model and coach family in such areas as communication skills, anger management, problem solving, stress management, and appropriate discipline.
*Provide in-home direct service to families.
*Participate on the Child and Family Team, helping the engagement of the child, family, extended family, and informal resources.
*Participate in the development of Child and Family plans.
*At times, will be working with representatives from DCFS, DMH, court systems, schools, and other community liaisons.
*Training and supervision will be provided in regard to anger management, problem solving, communication techniques, and appropriate discipline.
