June is such an exciting month for The Help Group!  Students from our specialized day schools celebrated graduation ceremonies at each of The Help Group’s various campuses.

Ceremonies began with a beautiful and touching rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner,” performed by Charlotte Bashner who leads The Help Group children’s choir, with piano accompaniment by Tommy Reeves. Afterwards, graduating students donning caps and gowns made their way to the stage to give speeches, share memories and receive their diplomas.

In their commencement speeches, students spoke of resilience, hope, and triumphs. It was truly moving to hear each young person talk about their successes at The Help Group and their pathways to the future.  During the ceremony, proud families and staff took photos and filled the room with spirited applause.

“From the moment a student arrives at The Help Group, we strive to give them every opportunity to develop their strengths and cultivate their abilities so they can prepare for their next steps,” shared Dr. Susan Berman, Help Group COO. “Graduation ceremonies are always such a special time to join together with our faculty and families as we celebrate the successes and accomplishments of these remarkable young people, each of whom can be very proud of what they have achieved!”

The Help Group’s multidisciplinary team of administrators, teachers, teaching assistants, and speech, language, and occupational therapy providers were all recognized for their ongoing commitment to helping our students thrive and succeed.

Congratulations to each of our students and their friends and families!
