Seeking Qualified Life Skills Coaches (Earn Hours Towards Licensure)
Founded in 1975, The Help Group is the largest, most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit of its kind in the United States serving children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, abuse and emotional problems.
At Advance LA, our dynamic team works with young people and their families to foster personal growth and development, inspire a sense of mastery and accomplishment, and guide young adults as they advance toward greater levels of independence. Our services include one-on-one coaching; workshops for teens, young adults, parent and professionals; and college/career planning. We provide life skills coaching to those challenged by Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and other social emotional/behavioral issues.
We are seeking a part-time life skills coach to serve our Eastside clients (Pasadena, CSULA, Eagle Rock) with the flexibility to take clients as far west as Sherman Oaks. Schedules are flexible and set by the coach, and it is expected that the position will grow to a full-time position.
This is a great job for a current or recent graduate student with experience working with adolescents and young adults who is looking for a flexible, rewarding job. This is also a good position for those who enjoy working hands-on with their clients and seeing quick results and progress. We will provide supervision to earn hours towards licensure.
