MA degree in psychology, MSW, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in psychology from an accredited graduate program. Two years clinical experience with children and families. Minimum one year experience working with families and one year experience working within school or residential treatment setting required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individual and/or family treatment to SED/LD/DD/Autistic children.
Coordinate regularly with school staff, psychiatrist, speech therapist and others as appropriate.
Provide case management services.
Provide 24-hour availability and crisis intervention to assigned clients on an as needed basis.
Participate in scheduled staff, agency wide, utilization review, and other meetings as assigned.
Maintain client information in a confidential manner.
Maintain client charts in a responsible manner and meet all paperwork deadline requirements.
Comply with the Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethical standards.
Arrange work schedule or required hours to the benefit of the Agency and clients with the approval of the program’s Clinical Director.
