Job Title: Clinical Supervisor
Reports to: Outpatient Department Director
Supervisees: Community Based Therapists
MA, MSW, MFT, LCSW, ,Psy. D.or PhD. in psychology, counseling, social work or related field; valid California clinical license. A minimum of three years experience specific to emotionally disturbed children and adults, minimum of two years administrative experience in implementing treatment programs, knowledge of and skills in areas of individual, group, and family therapy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Clinical Supervisor will have clinical and administrative responsibilities for all staff assigned within the community based therapy department.
Provide on going individual supervision of community- based therapists as assigned.
Provide didactic trainings, group supervision as assigned.
Recruit and train program staff.
Oversee the delivery of quality clinical services and compliance with agency policy.
Assist in the development of program policies and procedures to ensure agency compliance with funding sources.
Interface with DCFS, DMH, court systems, schools, and other community liaisons.
Ensure that all paperwork is complete and paperwork deadlines are met.
Provide 24- hour availability and crisis intervention to supervisees as well as clients on an as-needed basis.
Participate in supervisors meetings, staff meetings, agency wide meetings, utilization review meetings and in-service trainings.
Ensure documentation requirements are met for supervisees in a timely and accurate manner.
Arrange work schedule or required hours to the benefit of the outpatient department with the approval of the outpatient director.
Comply with agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
Comply with applicable professional licensing requirements and ethical standards.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
