Overview
Help in the Home is a full service, family-focused approach to improving the lives of children and adolescents with autism and other developmental challenges. Vendored by local Regional Centers, Help in the Home offers a 16-hour parent training program to teach parents the basic principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and evidence-based intervention. Instruction will focus on the needs of families with children ages 18 months to 22 years with an autism spectrum diagnosis or related condition. This program will prepare parents to be working members of the treatment team once services begin and is required by the North Los Angeles County Regional Center prior to qualification for Behavioral Intervention Services.
