  • Culver City Groundbreaking

    The Help Group is pleased to announce the expansion of its Culver City Campus. In response to the critical need for autism services in our community, The Help Group is breaking ground on a new school and therapy building. This state-of-the-art facility will accommodate 200 more students.

  • Golf 2012

    Keyes Automotive Group marked another great event on the greens, hosting the 21stAnnual Keyes for Kids Teddy Bear Golf Classic on September 24, 2012 at the Valencia Country Club.

  • Summit 2012

    The Help Group Summit 2012 – Advances and Best Practices in Autism, Learning Disabilities and ADHD took place on October 26th and 27th at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. With First 5 California as the Major Sponsor and ABC 7 as Media Sponsor, this year’s event featured 30 leading experts who provided cutting edge information to 600 attendees.

  • prep. launch. elevate (2012)

    Advance LA’s first annual conference prep.launch.elevate: Supporting Teens & Young Adults in their Transition to Independence was a groundbreaking event. Held on May 11th at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, the conference featured more than 20 leading experts who presented the latest breakthroughs and best practices in supporting young adults in their transition to independence.

  • Ball 2011

    John Nogawski, President, CBS Television Distribution, was the recipient of The Help Group 2011 Help Humanitarian Award presented at the Teddy Bear Ball on Monday, December 5. Mr. Nogawski was honored in recognition of his outstanding philanthropic spirit and commitment to children with special needs. That same evening, The Help Group presented its Champion for Children Award to California Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg and its Corporate Philanthropy Award to Microsoft Inc. The guests were treated to a speical performance when Brian Wilson, one of popular music’s most revered figures and influential composers, took to the stage.

  • Tea 2012

    Dr. Lisa Masterson was the afternoon’s featured speaker at The Help Group’s 5th Annual Teddy Bear Tea – An Affair of the Heart held on April 17th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

    The Help Group Summit 2010 – Advances and Best Practices in Autism, Learning Disabilities and ADHD convened on Friday, October 1st and Saturday, October 2nd at The Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.

    Music for Autism is raising public awareness and enriching lives through autismfriendly, interactive concerts developed specifically for individuals with autism and their families. The concerts, held in the United States and the United Kingdom, feature professional musicians, including Tony Award winners and Grammy-nominated classical artists.

    The Help Group’s 19th Annual Keyes European Mercedes-Benz Teddy Bear Golf Classic and Lockton Insurance Brokers Awards Dinner honored Wells Fargo with the Help Fore Children Humanitarian Award’ for its extensive philanthropic giving, which has enriched and improved the lives thousands of children and families across the country.

  • Autism Center Ribbon Cutting Celebration

    It was a dream come true when The Help Group, Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, Supervisor Zev Yaroslavksy, a host of dignitaries and special guests proudly gathered on January 24th for a ribbon cutting celebration to mark the official opening of the new Help Group Autism Center.
