Gabe discovered his passion for art as a student at Summit View West. Today he’s an acclaimed muralist painting across the country. This year he returned to Sherman Oaks to create a mural with students, showing what happens when young people are supported and encouraged to believe in their gifts.
Abbey found confidence through theater and singing at The Help Group. Her journey shows the power of being seen and supported. Abbey’s light helps others imagine their own place on stage and in the world, reminding us that belonging and self-expression are essential.
After a year of struggling to attend school, Liam found stability and belonging here. With whole-child support, he rediscovered joy in learning, fell in love with theater, and even won a class election. His story proves that the right environment can transform a life.
Impact multiplies when it’s shared. Partnerships with schools like Harvard-Westlake Upper School and Curtis School Elementary create genuine friendships through community events, from field days and basketball games to obstacle courses and dance-alongs. Bloom Café on our Culver City campus thrives as a hub for community and vocational training thanks to Looking Beyond. We’re deeply grateful for Connecting a Caring Community volunteers, whose steady presence helps students feel known and valued, and for Zenith, partners for nearly 50 years, whose philanthropic support and hands-on service set the bar for lasting collaboration.
