The recent wildfires have been devastating, and The Help Group is here to provide unwavering support and resources to those impacted. We understand the profound effects these events can have on individuals, especially those with special needs and mental health challenges.
Here’s how The Help Group can help:
- Immediate Mental Health Support: Lumina Counseling is offering same-day virtual therapy sessions for individuals and families. Our compassionate therapists provide a safe space for healing and addressing the emotional toll of trauma and displacement. Click here to learn more.
- Specialized Support for the Special Needs Community: Our team is working closely with families to provide individualized assistance and resources tailored to the unique needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and other challenges. Please know that The Help Group remains a resource for anyone in the community. - Clothing and Essential Items Donation: We will be distributing clothing from our student-run enterprise, Silverlining Resale, to support individuals who have lost their homes or been displaced.
