đź’¦ A Splash-Tastic Day of Partnership & Play! đź’¦
What do you get when you mix sunshine, water balloons, laughter, and a big heart for community? Water Games—a joint activity day between The Help Group’s ESY (Extended School Year) schools and Viewpoint School’s Camp Coyote volunteers!
On July 16th, our Sherman Oaks campus transformed into a joyful splash zone as students from The Help Group’s Young Learners Preschool, Sunrise, Bridgeport, and Village Glen schools (Elementary and Middle School) came together for an unforgettable day of fun, friendship, and soaking-wet smiles.
Thanks to the incredible middle school volunteers from Viewpoint School’s Camp Coyote Service Learning Program, our students enjoyed a full lineup of water-filled activities—from sponge relays and rubber ducky races to the always-anticipated water balloon toss. These compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers brought energy, kindness, and a whole lot of splash to our summer program.
The annual Water Games event is a shining example of the power of partnership. Camp Coyote’s mission to build leadership through community service blends beautifully with The Help Group’s commitment to creating inclusive, joyful learning experiences. Together, we made memories that will last far longer than any water balloon ever could.
Here’s to teamwork, shared smiles, and many more years of splash-tastic collaboration! 💙
