How to Help - Volunteer
Help Mates Volunteer Program
Volunteering is an important part of The Help Group tradition. We welcome and encourage you to join our Help Mates program and to be part of a terrific team of more than 200 volunteers. Help Mates participate in almost every program that The Help Group offers. Volunteer activities include classroom involvement, after-school enrichment classes, recreational and social skills programs, day camps and programs for adolescents and adults in our residential programs.
We also have volunteers in our Paws & Pals pet intervention program and in some of our offices helping out with program preparation, clerical work, data entry and office duties. Some of our volunteers like to get involved with fundraising and community affairs events like our Holiday Carnival, Teddy Bear Tea, Teddy Bear Ball, Keyes for Kids Teddy Bear Golf Classic, Music for Autism concerts and our professional conferences and seminars.
If you’d like information on how to join The Help Group’s fantastic volunteer team and become one of our Help Mates, please contact Gabrielle Cohen, Volunteer Coordinator, at 818-779-5305 or fill out the form below.
