In recognition of National Autism Awareness Month this April, The Help Group is once again launching its annual “Learn the Facts and Early Signs of Autism” campaign. The campaign provides the public with up-to-date information and promotes awareness and a greater understanding of autism.
The “Learn the Facts” brochure contains important facts and a list of the early signs, some of which may be recognizable within the first year of life. Research has shown that early identification and intensive early intervention can result in significant positive outcomes for many children with autism.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® will make The Help Group’s “Learn the Facts” brochures available in participating company-owned locations in California and Arizona, as well as on its in-store television displays and social media outlets.
Gelson’s will also host an autism awareness and fund-raising campaign at its 18 Southern California locations. Copies of the “Learn the Facts” brochures will be available in stores, and customers will have the opportunity to make donations to The Help Group.
