The Help Group Choir sings a holiday classic

On December 11, The Help Group hosted a spirited and uplifting holiday concert featuring students of The Help Group, to the delight of fellow students, faculty, staff and parents.

Under the direction of Help Group Choir Director, Charlotte Bashner, students’ holiday cheer, talent, and creative expression were on full display. Help Group Art Teacher Jenn Slade designed the set for the

Help Group students performed memorable holiday classics like Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, a Hannukah Medley, and The Twelve Days of Christmas, to name a few. Additionally, a few student performers sang truly impressive solos, like When Christmas Comes to Town from the movie Polar Express; What’s This? from The Nightmare Before Christmas; and Hallelujah – a gorgeous, oft-covered song by Leonard Cohen.

At the final bow, student performers received a rapturous round of applause, and some parents were even brought to tears. Congratulations to all of the Help Group students, teachers, and faculty who made this year’s concert a truly joyous success!
