Dear Help Group Friends & Families,

June marks graduation season, a time of excitement for students, parents, and educators alike. At The Help Group, we proudly celebrated the graduation of 120 students from our fourteen K-12 schools in Sherman Oaks, Valley Glen, Van Nuys, and Culver City, including Bridgeport School, Bridgeport Vocational Education Center, North Hills Prep, STEM3 Academy, Summit View School, Sunrise School, Village Glen School, and Westview School.
Through the support of our highly compassionate and skilled educational and clinical teams, families, and friends, our graduates will be matriculating to a wide range of college and vocational programs tailored to meet their individual needs.

To capture some of the magic of these graduations, please scroll down and watch a short video highlighting the courage, resilience, and incredible successes our students have achieved.

In addition to the graduation video, we invite you to explore our blog post, addressing the process high school graduates undergo as they transition to college. Plus, don’t forget to check out the exciting upcoming events listed below!

Thank you for your ongoing interest and support of our unwavering commitment to ensuring that “dignity, opportunity, and help are the birth rights of all young people.”

The Help Group's 2023 Graduation Video

This beautiful reel highlights our schools’ graduations, including Bridgeport School, Bridgeport Vocational Center, STEM3 Academy, North Hills Prep, Summit View School, Sunrise School, Village Glen School, and Westview School.

For some neurodivergent young adults, graduation is often very emotional as it marks the end of a defined time of life as well as the beginning of the unknown. It can be helpful for parents to be aware that even a happy event like a graduation can cause a neurodivergent young adult to experience mixed emotions during the ceremonies and parties. Experiencing stress, fear, and anxiety along with joy, relief, and anticipation are all to be expected for a young adult and are part of the normal graduation process.

Year-Round Rolling Admissions!

The Help Group’s specialized day schools offer preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and transition-age programs, and are certified by the California State Department of Education. The schools provide small classes, individualized curricula, and enrichment
activities to maximize learning, build social competence, and prepare students for success. We offer year-round rolling admissions! To learn more, contact us at admissions@thehelpgroup.org or 877-943-5747.
