One of the highlights of summertime at The Help Group is the Young Learners Preschool for Autism graduation. This year, ceremonies were held on both the Sherman Oaks Campus and Culver City Campus. At each ceremony, the graduates donned caps and gowns for the processional march as proud parents and grandparents snapped photos and recorded video of the happy occasion.
Dr. Sara McCracken, Director of Young Learners and Early Educational Programs, welcomed the families in Sherman Oaks, “This is such a special day for our preschool students who have worked so hard and accomplished so much in their time at The Help Group. We know they are ready for kindergarten, and are confident they have bright futures ahead.”
Pamela Clark, Director of The Help Group’s Autism Schools, shared, “The mission of Young Learners Preschool is to create a positive, dynamic learning environment to help students with autism reach their maximum potential. Thanks to our multidisciplinary team of administrators, teachers, teaching assistants, speech & language providers, occupational therapy providers and adaptive physical education providers who take this mission to heart and whose dedication to our youngest students is evident to everyone here today.”
